Final Project Final Complication
Reflection
For my next project, I am focusing more on After Effects
applications. At first, I did some exercises and tutorials to
understand the application, but now we are diving into more advanced
techniques for creating and perfecting animations. In this lesson
experience, I have learned how to use some important tools such as
keyframing, motion paths, and adding effects to control timing and
transitions. These tools are very helpful for creating smoother
animations. For the second assignment, I experimented with more
complex techniques such as color grading, compositing, and layer
animation. This was especially useful for my “Self-Titled Projects,”
where I applied these skills to make the visuals feel more cohesive
and professional.
I also learned some new tools for tasks like recoloring and refining compositions. Tools like the Opacity tool, Layer Mask, Adjustment Layers, Puppet Tool, and Brush tool help me fine-tune the animation and add additional details. I had a lot of fun with the Puppet Tool, it allowed me to manipulate individual elements, making the animations feel more fluid and natural.
Looking back, I can see how much I’ve grown. In the beginning, After Effects felt a bit overwhelming, and I wasn’t sure how to make everything work together. But now, I feel much more confident using the software and its tools. The lessons on motion graphics and animation have been really valuable, and I know I’ll be able to apply what I’ve learned to future projects. I’m glad I took this course, it’s given me the skills I need to move forward in digital animation.
